About Us
It started on a cold, early-morning trip to the mountains.
While loading up his family’s gear under a tonneau cover with rain and snow in the forecast, our founder — Todd (known by friends as “Goat”) — realized there was no way to carry everything he needed while keeping it protected from the weather.
Frustrated and forced to leave half his gear behind, he recognized a familiar problem every truck owner faces. Nothing on the market solved it — not tonneau covers, camper shells, tarps, or storage bins. He needed something better: a way to keep full use of his truck bed for mountain bikes on the tailgate, dirt bikes in the bed, or a full load of gear stacked to cab height, all protected from the elements and secured for the road.
At 3:30 a.m., driving toward the mountains, Todd did what he’s always done in the military and aerospace & defense world — he worked the problem. By the end of the drive, he had sketched out the concept for a fully weatherproof, removable, full-bed storage system.
That idea became the TruckDuffle™ — built to handle diverse loads, rough roads, and harsh weather. Every detail was engineered for real-world use: heavy-duty materials, welded seams, a load-compression and stabilization system, and a dual-layer non-skid base that stays put through miles of rain, snow, and grit.
During a test trip, a truck owner at Buc-ee’s saw it in action and said,
“That’s the greatest truck accessory since the trailer hitch.”
He wasn’t wrong.
