Frequently Asked Questions

Frequently Asked Questions

What’s included?

Each TruckDuffle includes:

  • 1× TruckDuffle
  • 1× TruckDuffle storage bag
  • 4× Attachment straps with locking carabiners
  • 4× Ratchet tie-down straps for above-rail loads or extra security
  • 1× Quick-start instruction guide
What size should I buy?

Choose your TruckDuffle size based on your available bed length, measured at the top rail (not total bed length).

  • Small: Fits 4 ft or longer available bed space
  • Medium: Fits 5.5 ft or longer
  • Large: Fits 6.5 ft or longer
Does a Tonneau Cover or Tool Box impact the size I choose?

Yes. In-bed tonneau covers and toolboxes reduce your available bed length by
approximately one size. Measure along the top rail from tailgate to the back of bed or
object fitted into the bed (ie. tonneau cover box or tool box in bed) to determine
available bed length.

Is there a best way to load the TruckDuffle?

Yes. Typically load from the cab side towards the tailgate in layers. Larger/Heavier items
should be on the lower layer. With lighter items as you build up to the cab height. I
personally use 57 gallon bins as a bottom layer for smaller items and then use the bins as a flat loading platform for larger objects moving up.

Is the TruckDuffle waterproof?

The TruckDuffle is fully weatherproof — made from 840D PVC, RF-welded seams, and storm-flap zippers that keep out rain, snow, and dust.
It’s built to handle downpours, slush, and long-haul exposure.

Can I lock the TruckDuffle?

You can put a small lock on the blue nylon zipper pulls, however the pulls can be cut
with a knife and is not necessarily a reliable theft deterrent. With the TruckDuffle
properly closed and tailgate closed accessing the zipper isn’t easy.

How do I care for it?

If the duffle gets dirty you can wipe it off with a rag or hose off with water. Allow the
inside of the TruckDuffle to dry before closing the zipper while leaving a 6” opening at the tailgate side. We recommend folding up the TruckDuffle and storing in its bag when not in use.

Are there storage bins that fit each duffle size?

Following are combinations that work well and I use regularly.

For just the base:
- 2 x 57 Gal Husky for Large and Medium size, or 1 Husky 57 Gal and 1 HDX 57 Gal for
Small base.

To maximize bin storage:
- Large: 6 x Husky 57 Gal Pro Grip (red) stacked 3 x 3 + 2 HDX 27 Gal at tailgate
standing on sides with room on top and sides remaining
- Medium: 6 x Husky 57 Gal Pro Grip (red) stacked 3 x 3 with room on sides, top and
tailgate side.
- Small: 3 x Husky 57 Gal Pro Grip (red) stacked + 2 x HDX 57 Gal Tough Tote (yellow) stacked

What is the safe temperature range for the TruckDuffle?

The TruckDuffle performs in temperatures from –22°F to 158°F (–30°C to 70°C).
Avoid direct contact with extreme heat or open flame.
